Choose the analytical path first

Do not compare products only by whether they accept natural language. Decide whether the main job is fixed monitoring, analyst-led exploration, or conversational analysis that must become an operated agent.

Design a fair proof of concept

Use 20 to 30 real questions with standard definitions, authorized roles, expected outputs, and failure criteria. Test paraphrases, ambiguity, follow-ups, empty results, and unauthorized requests.

Measure semantic setup, data preparation, training, and ongoing evaluation effort in addition to answer quality. This reveals total ownership cost more accurately than a scripted demo.
